Decent hotel
Well located in the center, so easy to walk and a lot of resturants around. nice hotel a little run down so could use some upgrade but room was not bad and breakfast ok with decent choice. Wide shower but not the greatest water pressure. Friendly service and
Great Leeuwarden hotel
Another great overnight stay in this hotel. Great location, staff and breakfast. Comfortable room and bed for a great night's sleep. Hotel is across the road from the train station and just 5 minutes from the town centre. Plenty of nearby restaurants for evening meals too.
High quality hotel lacking food
Oranje is pretty comfortable. Rooms are wide, quiet, although a little too gray (put some colour in them: Northern Europe weather is already kind of gray).
Staff is extremely nice and helpful. I think though that a 4 star hotel needs a restaurant in it. If a guest can't go out or doesn't feel like it for some reasons is forced to have only a few snacks, which cannot exactly be called a meal.
